Arcads vs HeyGen: Which One Fits Your Use Case
Last updated
Both tools generate a synthetic person delivering a script. That surface similarity hides two quite different products, and picking on features alone tends to produce the wrong answer.
The useful question is what each one assumes about the job you are doing.
Arcads in One Paragraph
Arcads is aimed at performance marketers producing UGC-style ads. The actor library is built for that aesthetic — people who read as real customers rather than corporate presenters — and the output is vertical, short, and tuned for paid social.
Pricing is not published publicly; tiers appear after account creation, and third-party figures online conflict with one another.
HeyGen in One Paragraph
HeyGen is aimed at businesses producing video at scale across languages and departments. Custom avatars, voice cloning, translation with editable scripts, SCORM export, SSO and seat-based billing.
Pricing is public: free tier, Creator at $29 per month, Pro from $49, Business at $149 plus $20 per seat.

What Neither One Does
Both produce a person talking. Neither is built around the product itself.
For e-commerce that is a real constraint. The ad formats that convert for physical products usually cut between a hook, the product being used, and the result. A talking clip is one of those three, and you assemble the rest somewhere else.
Both also assume you arrive with a script. Deciding which benefit to lead with, what the hook should be, and how to structure the shots happens before either tool opens.
Where Faysell Sits
Faysell takes the product as the input instead of the script. A product URL or photo is analysed, selling points are extracted, a script is generated per shot, first frames are produced with the actor and the product composited together, and the shots are generated and merged into a finished ad.
Plans are $49, $74 and $140 per month for 800, 1,200 and 2,400 credits, which works out to 40, 60 and 120 four-second ads. Pricing is on the pricing page without an account.
That is a different trade: less actor variety and no localisation workflow, in exchange for the product appearing accurately on screen and a complete multi-shot ad from a single input.
Choosing
- Testing presenter demographics for UGC ads. Arcads, for the actor library.
- One video into thirty languages. HeyGen, by a wide margin.
- Internal training or enablement content. HeyGen, for SCORM and team governance.
- Product ads where the item must be on screen. Neither of the above is built for it.
- You have products but not scripts. Product-aware generation removes the step both others assume you have done.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is Arcads or HeyGen better for TikTok ads?
- Arcads is aimed more directly at that use case — the actor library and output format are built for UGC-style paid social. HeyGen can produce vertical ad video but is designed around a broader set of business video needs.
- Which is cheaper?
- HeyGen publishes pricing starting at $29 per month for Creator. Arcads does not publish rates publicly, so a direct comparison is not possible without creating an account.
- Can either tool show my product in the video?
- Both can display a product the actor is holding to a limited degree, but neither is built around compositing a specific product with correct packaging and proportions as a primary input.
- Do I need a script before using them?
- Generally yes. Both generate delivery from a script you supply rather than deciding what the ad should say.
- What if I need multi-shot ads?
- Both produce a single continuous clip per generation, so multi-shot structures are assembled in an editor afterwards or produced by a tool that treats shots as the unit.
